A new update for FIFA 18 has been released by EA Sports. The new updated patch fix a range of issues involving gameplay for FIFA 18: FIFA Ultimate Team, Career Mode,Squad Battles game playing. This patch currently is only available for xbox one and later on pc and ps4 in the same announcing day. According to the new update, the new released patch fixes a CPU AI exploit in Squad Battles Mode, allowing players to beat the computer on higher difficulty levels according to players feedback.
Squad Battles is a brand new FIFA 18 Ultimate Team game mode, also an offline mode. Within this all-new single player mode, player are allowed to participate into various tournaments and earn rewards by taking on other squads from the FUT community to earn rewards and move up the leaderboards. However, just because the Squad Battles is an offline mode, especially some place like PC where mods and exploits are far more trivial, it's challenging to imagine a cheat/glitch filled world.
FIFA AI Control
What is FIFA AI? In terms of FIFA AI controlling, EA gives little introduction on how the AI works in this updating note. EA says, "limited by the same input restrictions as a human player is". Working just the same the human players, the CPU AI controlled players could exist on a team with no human players like a team controlled by CPU AI.
Here we show you the total origin gameplay change note released by EA.
Made the following change in Gameplay:
Removed the chance for the CPU AI controlled player to receive a second yellow card when trying to push or pull an opponent, with the exception of an attacker who is through on goal and 1 on 1 with the keeper.
-- This has no impact on human controlled players.
To better explain this change we wanted to provide some additional context around how the CPU team plays the game.
-- The CPU plays the game as you would, limited by the same input restrictions as a human player is.
-- This means that the CPU team has an active player, just like you do, which we call the CPU AI controlled player.
-- A CPU AI controlled player exists in the following circumstances:
-- On a team with no human players.
-- For example, the CPU controlled team in Squad Battles.
-- On a team with human players who are all locked to specific players, that also has CPU teammates.
-- For example, a Pro Clubs team, with less than 11 human players, with no ANY player.
A CPU AI controlled player does not exist in the following circumstances:
-- On a team with human players who are not locked to specific players.
-- For example, a team in FUT Champions.
When the new patch are applied into use, it removes the chance for the CPU AI controlled player to receive a second yellow card once they are trying to pull or push a opponent. Whereas the attacker will receive a second yellow card as long as he is through on goal and one-on-one with the keeper. Additionally, what we are talking about have nothing to do with human controlled players. There is still we don't know about how FIFA works until now. So this patch will not stop EA'S way to give ore fixes on its glitch and we elitesplay will inform you as long as there are new announces. Stay tuned for us.
